Toyo 888R’s Tackiness
I’ve put about 4K miles on my Toyo’s and now I’m spinning like crazy at the track. I made two trips to the track when I had under 2500 miles and they hooked great. Is this what I should expect from them? I only made three passes each time at the track and didn’t do a long burnout. 824 Rwhp

Could be different track prep, too. A total of only 6 passes with no John Force burnouts doesn't sound like a lot.

Is this your first time with a higher HP car? If you're getting 5,000 miles out of a set then you're doing phenomenal and most likely aren't racing it much. To put things into perspective, I get 2,000 miles if I'm lucky and stay out of the gas on the HWY and lower speeds. But since I don't and occasionally go to the track (one with turns) I'll usually swap them out at 1000-1500 miles or whenever the start to spin on the street and no longer capable of hooking up. Thats sorta my gauge on when to change or not.
