Im getting conflicting messages between Chevy Chat which says the vehicle is not in transit and they don’t have shipping information & the Jack Cooper shipping tracker when I put my VIN in. Jack Cooper says it’s in Toledo and has been since 4/29 I doubt Chevy Chat is correct in this situation

Don’t believe chat once your car is built. Tell your Dealer to use VIN View and he can tell you exactly where it is.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. I try not to bug my dealer but I’ll have to hit him up

Once the car has been turned over to JackCooper Chevy chat is useless, and if it makes you feel better JackCooper lost my car in the holding lots since February. So have faith because yours looks like it’s actually stage to be shipped, probably just waiting it’s turn to hit the rail.

Let’s hope ! It’s been in the rail yard for almost 3 weeks so hopefully it’s on a train by now. But damn man I hope they fix your situation. This whole process is a joke.

It really is, I’m just lucky to have a sales rep to go out of his way to figure out what’s going on. But from what I’ve seen most people produced in April are getting shipped now, so have faith, it’ll be worth it.

It's the same for the Colorado / Canyon. I ordered a ZR2 a bit over 2 months ago, was produced the second week of April and now is just sitting and no one can tell me when it's going to arrive. Frustrating.

is there any websites besides jack cooper that can be used to track shipment after the car has been delivered to the rail yard? i have this link http://k0jdd.netlogger.org/VehicleStatus.php which says its been delivered to the rail yard but i dont believe jack cooper keeps up with the tracking of the vehicle after that point?

Dealer should be able to track it with Vinview and as far as I know they're the only ones with access to any information.

Not sure how accurate even Vinview is, JC website says my ZR2 was dropped off at a holding yard May 6th, they GPS track my dealer sent me says it's outside of the yard.

Chevy chat was able to tell me very updated information after Jack Cooper dropped my car off in Toledo. They told me precisely where my car was on the train every day I checked in.

Not really. Almost everyone I sent there and told to talk to a human was treated exactly the same.

The duration on chat varied depending on who I talked to, but almost each time was a solid 15-20 minutes as they were searching for info. They ALWAYS got back to me with an accurate location that, if I chose to, my salesmen backed up.

Just make sure you're talking to a human and not a robot is all.

I ordered a Denali 2500 HD May 25, 2021. Once it was built, I received no information from chat when chatting with a live agent. They never gave me any indication that it was on a rail car, when it was picked up by the carrier, etc. Glad it worked for you.

Interesting. Maybe things have changed in that long, with more customers curious about the status/whereabouts of their vehicles.
