Ever wanted orange belts in your FIFTY or swap seatbelts in general
So my car is obviously the FIFTY with the orange stitching and such. I always wanted colored belts so I started researching and found the "hot wheels" edition came with orange belts. I couldn't confirm if it would match or not and I am here to say its perfect. Now with that said it MIGHT be alittle loud for me I shall see but I did it and it isnt bad. Here is what I can confirm for those looking for Orange. last 3 849 is driver side and 852 is pass. I went to gmpartsdirect and outside a bit of a wait they were by far the cheapest. Now lets get on to the install. Go to youtube and you'll find a bunch of videos. Heres what I can tell you.
-Removing back bottom cushion the first time is a real bitch. I am a pretty strong guy and in an effort to not damage the seat I used a big ass screw driver at the connectors -You dont need to remove the sticky weather stripping. Leave it -If your front seat is high (us short guys) lower it to access the 10mm on the seat -If doing fronts only no need to remove back panels -When removing the lower T50 behind the panel pull up the plastic wiring harness and go under it -7mm behind top airbag panel Overall took about 30 min to do driver side and about 15 to do pass after I learned my lessons. And yes my seats recline ALL THE WAY BACK I pulled them and drilled out the stoppers lol.

Not really because my 2017 ZL1 has the red seat/shoulder belts which I’m happy with. I applaud you though for changing yours to the orange ones!

I just got the red kneepad sections. I thought about the seatbelts but when I saw pictures of people using them, it looked like they were wearing construction vests.

The Hot Wheels package came in the same Orange color code as your car back in 2017 so this is probably the exact match for you!

Pretty sure your wrong my friend. I BELIEVE the rears are different for the 2 but the fronts are the same. I know that knowledge is somewhere here so you guys research. Those numbers are 100% Coupe front

84496831-RF coupe red While these are not the orange 50 belts, the coupe and convertible most definitely are not the same part numbers. Maybe someone should do some better research. |

Keep it simple guys. Do what I did. Find a car online with the belts of your choice for sale. Take the vin and have dealer. pull part numbers. IF YOU WANT ORANGE AND HAVE A COUPE I GOT YOU.
