That was my shop car, it was returned to stock and traded in on my 2018 ZL1 1LE,
We have built/tuned/sold this package 100s more like it with no issues. Ted.

So in the end with the LPE HPFP and LT4 injectors, Lt1 stock cam was it confirmed that you could run E80 at 7-9 psi? I’m running a P1-X so it’s probably quite different on fuel consumption over a PD.
I have the +30 I can put in with the LPE but if I can’t support e80 with stock Lt1 cam then idk if it would be worth it or not…. |

Put the car in 6th gear, use hard street tires, and SAE correction, it probably would have made 615-620whp. Some dyno shops use STD correction instead of SAE to off set the difference of using a lower gear to dyno. 1:1 gear makes the most power but many dyno shops will not use 1:1 due to the high speeds. STD correction dynos about 10-15whp higher then SAE. 6th gear dynos about 15-20whp higher then 5th for A8. Same for 7th and 6th on A10. Drag radials dyno 10-15whp lower then street tires. I only mention this because you seem hyper focused on dyno numbers. Far as performance times. VIA dragy I went 10.8 @ 132 on this setup. Then I dropped from a 3.5 to 3.25 pulley, Switched to big gulp from standard RF, 103mm tb, lowered E down to E40, and have been a best of 10.5 @ 136 with a soft 1.8 60ft...still running 20" wheels.

Thanks King.
Yeah I’m gonna get it tuned with the LT4 stuff I have in the car now on 93 and tuner should have an idea where I stand on fuel etc. I can always add the Lpe and +30 at that time. Only reason I reference the dyno numbers is because that seems like what everyone uses as a reference when talking about e% content. If the car made 575 or 650 I wouldn’t care. I care more about being able to run pump e85 in the end. I’m sure whatever it makes hp wise will be a night and day difference over FBO and it will be a huge difference. |
