LOL

last night at a local hangout one of my buddies asked me to open the hood on my RS.usually i dont cause its a stock 6 cylinder but it was clean so i opened it.of course another of our mutual friends drives a 2005(?) mustang V8 and said something snarky about wanting to see my 6 cylinder.he got kinda butthurt to find out my 6 makes more horsepower than his older 8 cylinder and left early.oh well...he started that crap.

Good for you, lad! It's not about the amount of cylinders but how those cylinders are juiced.

The 4th Gen Z/28 LS1 was only rated for 315 or something like that... I’ve read several places where they were the exact same 350 hp as the vette but GM didn’t want them to be even with the “King”.

One of the car mags did an article or two in 2009 or 2010 comparing the 4.6 mustang to the V6 Camaro.

Lmao non coyote mustangs need to learn how slow they are. And don’t discount 6 bangers - I had a bonneville SSEI and a Tbird super coupe both supercharged 3.8l from the factory that used to haul ass.

i know about torque, one of my previous cars was a 1966 tempest with a built 67 400.got tired of 8 mpg on premium fuel, and most roads around here are too crowded to even use all of the mighty 6 cylinder without something ugly happening.

on a similar note....this happened about 11 years ago, I had a 2010 RS. on my local forum, someone had started a thread where you start to give people hints about the current MOD you are doing and people would guess what it was.....I told them it requires some tubing, then added that there is a solenoid involved, then added that there was a small tank, then finally there was a "compressor" installed, AND it was a TOTALLY STEALTH INSTALL!!.....NO ONE guessed correctly. The very next weekend was our monthly club meeting....at which time a bunch of them gathered around my car wanting to lift the hood to see what I had done. SOOOO I did, and as they were sticking their heads in and around the engine bay I laid on my newly installed TRACTOR TRAILER AIR HORN!! LOL LOL LOL at least one head hit the hood!

UPDATE:
