Didn't read your whole post but sorry to hear about your mom passing. I'm 28 and lost my mom in 2004, she was only 54 years old. She died unexpectedly luckily I did not have to watch her suffer at the end or anything. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry about your mom....on your brother...I wouldnt call the cops on him and I still would do what your mom wished for you to do with the money...that's a mothers love...and if he squanders it or whatever you will have a clear conscious because you DID DO what your mother wanted done...at the end of the day he is still your brother and you know how to deal with him...follow your heart and not your mind...and go with that

I got chills when I read your title. I am a throat cancer survivor for 5 years now and I am heartfully sorry to hear about your mom. That is such devastating news and my prayers are with you and your family. May God bless you and in whatever decision about your brother you make.

Don't worry he may be a horrible brother, but we are not. God bless your mothers soul and I hope non of us are those type of creatures who would ever do that while someone is dying. He will pay I hope dearly. But, your mother was a smart women and left you what she thought was best for you. I don't think you will get the money he stole back but he needs to pay for his actions.

i send you my heart felt condolences to you and your family. i know its hard to lose a family member, i lost my grandma and from that it hurt alot. So i also know what its like to have a messed up brother but mine didn't do the stupid things cause of drugs more cause of the people he was around. now with that in mind trust me i would press charges and not give your bro anything especially because he was an ass during this whole loss and still stole and lied. teach him a lesson and turn him in and put him away or in house.
