When I see a TPMS thread ...
Is programming of TPMS sensors complicated?
I have the 2010 SS of 2009 (17k miles), so I'm waiting for the batteries to run out.

Need some tools...?

In 2010 year no need tools. Go to relearn tpms in menu.

So I'm doing this operation myself?
It made the situation easier.
I do not know anyone who should be entrusted with the care my car. ...here, in the Czech Republic.

Thank you

What appears in the DIC when the tire symbol appears?

dealer fixed it last summer.only thing it would do is show a blank where the tire pressure would be on one or two tires...but not always the same one.then the TPMS light would come on.

just all 4 tire pressures,no blank spots where theres no tire pressure.dealer fixed it right, under warranty with no charge.they had to reroute 4 wires from one side of the windshield to the other, something about the heater motor was causing interference.

Reason I asked what appears is that the tire symbol warning light will come on intermittently in my car also (almost always when temp is around 40 & below) but I get the msg Service Tire Pressor Monitoring System. The light will eventually go off when the temp warms up OR if I lay some rubber

I had to have the dealer remove the aftermarket rims you see in my pic. The installer banded them in the rims them because they had a 45 degree angle. They tried everything including replacing the remote/ TPMS receive, but it didn't solve the problem. They end up giving me some re-furbed SS rims and of course that worked.

It's not even a good system. Mine doesn't let me know the tire is low till it's below 25psi. Then you would think it would come on in the first minutes of cranking it but never does.
