Don't pay for GM's screwup out of your own pocket, man. Just get the flush, drive a couple hundred miles, the shudder returns and then pay another visit to the dealer instead. Spend that $1k on something that makes the car faster and/or look better.

Good point for sure! Speaking of that. I’m looking into tires. 275/35/20 front and 295/35/20 rear. Summer tires. Having trouble matching those sizes in the same brand. Any suggestions? Someone’s gotta be running that set up I would assume. I looked throughSll the tire threads and didn’t find much of an answer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You didn't state your goals, until then, this is your best, and an expensive, choice for general summer street driving. Let's also hope that you can go for this near 1LE-like staggering (1.8%) and have no issues with traction control or stabilitrak. (You will definitely need to relocate the main body harness on the driver side rear.)

I would go for the general high performance summer tires. I love mine. And wayyyy cheaper than Goodyear or pillsburry dough boy. They’re made by continental.

I was also under the impression if I got 295 instead of 305 rear I wouldn’t have any issues with rubbing? Are you saying I still have to move the drivers side harness even with the 295? And I’ve seen loads of people mounting staggered wheels on these cars and I didn’t see anything about traction control or stability issues? Are you saying I need to stay with the square setup or I’m gonna cause problems. Just want to be sure before I start buying things. Thanks.

I currently run 285/35/20 in the rear, and the bulge from the harness was awfully close, not touching, but very close. Even if you may just get away with 295's, if you remove the wheels anyway, why not do this small mod as future insurance.

Also, I know there are cheaper and good tires out there, including the General G-MAX mentioned above, but you didn't give more details on your planned use. The PS4S is super quiet, which you would definitely appreciate after the runflats.

The only people who had the issue return after the most current TSB are those whose T/C was most likely already damaged.

Cool, prob go with the good ones. do the RS v6 cars have the wire harness? Is it for the Magnetic ride control? If so I thought only the SS and up have that. Just curious.

Well, it's part of the main body wiring harness, not MRC, and I'd think it is in the same location on the 1LT and 2LT.
