I have the Generals for New Jersey and my son runs the BFG comp 2's in Florida. I think the BFG's shed water a little better than the General's, which I felt gave a bit of an edge for those crazy south Florida downpours.
OP is in Dallas, where I am not as familiar with the weather patterns.

I've had these BFGs on my 2010 for about 4 years now.

They are such an improvement over the original P-Zero "summer" tires!

Quieter, better tracking, and not suicidal on cool rainy days.

And pretty good at the drag strip as well. Just don't expect any benefit from burnouts.

I got 17's with Mickey Thompson's for the strip. Thanks for all the great reply's guys. I'll check out both at purchase time, we do get some down pours here in Dallas, I was surprised at how well the stock goodyears do in the rain, but they will be baloney skins soon.

Totally agree. But I still have 'em. Mainly because they come in a 305/35/20.

They're good. Unless you drive at the track and need to milk out every last drop of performance, these are what many 5th gen owners swapped to. I like them much better than my Goodyear Eagle F1's which wore out in no time at all despite those also being marketed as "all season." The BF Comp 2's have nearly identical traction in the summer and much better performance in the cold.

I’ve got 2k miles on mine. I’ve driven them in light snow and wet roads. They have been great. I picked up about 1mpg on these tires vs the stock Eagle F1s.
Absolutely would recommend.

I have them on my 1LE right now as my winter tire, previously had a set on my 15 Mustang GT/PP so I had faith in them. I highly recommend them for cold weather use.

BFG Comp2 = BFG Comp2 A/S. I was being lazy. It's an all-season.
