I just saw this news article from USA Today about Hertz, the car rental agency, filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy. As a result, they are now selling most of their car fleet. Of course they have hundreds of base models sedans and what not, but I did managed to find about 300 2019-2020 Camaro for sale, most of them are 2SS. I found a 2020 2SS with only 8k miles for 35k which is a hard find for my market.

Those Hertz colors are fugly. And I doubt they will be a big collector item like the Mustang’s were from the 60’s. But I could be wrong. Myself I’d never buy a rent a car. I worked at one when I got out of high school and people beat them. And we drove all
of the cars from the economy to the top of the line Cadillacs like we stole them.

So were the colors on the Mustangs. Who knows if they will be or not. Chances are a Hendricks built, 750hp Hertz Camaro will be a collectors car.

Hertz, with their pricing, is betting on it.

And, for the record, I seriously doubt those 60's GT350's were rented by little old ladies who needed a ride to go play bingo...
