my car re-built costs about the same as it did in 2016 now. about 36k for a v6 auto rs.

I guess that's good since there's been some inflation in the last 3 years.

what's annoying is that the configuration tool doesn't allow you to see the options in detail like they provide for the "standard configuration", given the selections that were made.

Not sure why any buyer would care about what the standard 4 cyl and manual transmission specs are when they've configured a car without those things in it.

This build tool is garbage. It was designed by someone who doesn't have any communication with the users of the tool.

I have had Mag ride on my 2015 ZL1, 2016 SS, and my 2018 ZL1. I am looking at the LT1 as well for me I need the Bose. It's there! NPP is bigger.

Magride is hi-tech but then if you keep the car look at repair prices. But just changing shock valving @ 1,000 times per second is cool but only important on a track. The base SS LT1 suspension is as compliant as the Magride SS suspension. You just don't get to change shock vavling with settings.

What I am wondering is do you get the upper crust seat and dash coverings with the LT1 Recaro option? Or ?

Hotlap you are looking at the LT1 the wrong way! Imagine fitting a 15" rim on the back of a V8 Camaro without swapping out the back brakes. The SS is a better track car on tracks with curves.

Why did they put those curves in the track?

I get the whole drag racer concept. I load it just to see if I could

I wanted to option the LT1 to have the 245/285 performance tries (from the SS), NPP and cold air intake. A 100% stock, lightweight street brawler.

I like the LT1’s base front end a lot. My combination would be..
  • LT1
  • A10
  • Rally Green
  • Stinger stripe, Black Metallic
  • Technology Package
  • 20" 5-spoke, Carbon Flash-painted aluminum wheels
  • 6.2L performance air intake
  • Dual-mode exhaust
  • Decklid-mounted rear lip spoiler
  • Knee pads, Black sueded
Total= $40,990

I’d really prefer the 20" 5-SPLIT SPOKE SATIN BLACK WHEELS but $2,495 is steep.

I’m almost as bad as you with Camaro purchases. I bought new a 13 ZL1 M6, 16 2SS A8 magride and my current 18 2SS HW M6.

I’m going to hold onto this one ...but Rally Green is calling me

Unhappy

Hi.
In my opinion the model '19 onwards is quite ugly, I think someone has lost the pencil designing it.
It doesn't look like a Camaro.:loca:

LOL don’t understand why it took Chevy this long to figure out that a base V8 with a lot of options will have them selling less car for more money in a lot of cases. Kind of like when I built out an A10 SLE with options since they will not offer one. Add suspension kit, MRC, NPP, Recaros, brake upgrade and pay thousands more for most of the suspension, lesser wheel/tire and no ELSD.
