Test fitting wheels and tires today, 315's will clear

Using an employee's tire to test, but a 315 does fit in the back of the car and really gives it some much needed meat under the back of the car.

Waiting on new rubber and wheels to arrive later today for better pictures!

Stay tuned!

30% aspect ratio?

I'm not sure I like that look actually. I feel like the 315 sticks out a bit to much but it could just be the angle.

I think a 305 is a big as you can go on this car and still keep the tire in the wheel well.

315 fits...it is flush with the fender on OEM alignment from the factory. 305 would tuck in a bit better and the square 285 Gen5 1LE might be the best fit on the car.

Anthony your correct the 315/35/20 works perfectly like a glove, just wanted to share a little info on what i discovered ill be posting pictures on my thread as well, we did also test fit the 305/35/20 Pirelli Pzero and im not sure but they must run bigger because it rub on the driver side inner front wall, why?? only one side, well chevy place a wire harness that runs through it and touches, may need a slight mod. either way just wanted to share some info.

Will someone please try a 30% aspect ratio tire. 35% is just plain wrong for a 305 or 315.

A 305/30R20 might work better, I plan to run this size in Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Agreed, 35% aspect ratio makes the car look like a 4X4

Will be fitting a slightly different set of tires on Monday 275-35-20 and a 305-30-20.

These are 285-35-20 front and 305-35-20 rears. Only rub is on the driver rear inner fender, which is a very simple fix by moving a wire behind the inner wheel well.

More pics on Monday

ZR28 wheels are in stock and ready to ship though! Wheels are 20x10 front and 20x11 rears

What tire are you running? Only asking because this car looks like it has more wheel gap then the car in th MRR thread and the tire size is the same. Although their car is a RS and this is an SS.

Those are stock ZL1 rubber. 285-35-20 front and 305-35-20. The rear shock does rub like others have stated on the driver rear inside where they ran a small wiring harness through. Pull the liner back and move the wire and your fine.

Going to do 275-35-20 front and 305-30-20's later today and mock those up.

i have a set of zl1 wheels i plan on putting on my car but this rubbing issue was starting to get to me. is the only issue the harness rubbing? and that simple fix is just pushing it back?

sorry for the questions, just that if its gonna be an issue with my zl1 wheels then im just gonna sell them lol
