1.5 thread pitch - so two threads per 3mm

Hmm so sounds like 3mm should be enough, and be the comfortable limit to run on the track with lug rotations

Depends on wheel and your comfort. OEM, NHRA, etc. recommend min. thread engagement to be the width of the stud, 14mm in this case. With my OEM SS 1LE and ZL1 1LE wheels, I have just above 14mm in front and right at 14mm in rear. I have run 3mm spacers before with different tire combos. Others have run more. That's up to you.

However, I test fit a certain aftermarket wheel. The way it was made and machined, I lost 3mm thread engagement. I would not want to run any spacers with that wheel with stock studs.

I'm not saying my way is the gospel, but, I shoot for 9-10 threads (at 1.5mm pitch) engagement.

I will just be running OEM ZL1 1LE wheels on my SS 1LE with 3mm spacers, and the stock Track alignment. Should be good on fit and using stock studs right?

I think you'll be fine with stock studs.

I run 7mm spacers up front for a square winter tire setup, ARP 1" longer studs with the nose removed allows use of stock wheels as well, so that's a good solution if you want more threads and still be able to use the stock setup without changing out wheel studs.

With the ZLE spec wheel size and a little grinding of the strut I managed to fit with a 5mm spacer, but has anyone had the issue with rubbing on the inside liner while turning? I’m thinking of cutting the inner liner to help with this, any thoughts would be appreciated

Thanks
