Post 2020-2024 Camaro Statistics

Thought it would be fun to put together some statistics regarding the data we have now thanks to the dedicated folks here. I used that data to make these charts so hope someone finds it interesting

Excel Sheet - If you'd like to see clearer or check out some filters personally

Edit: I have to fix the cell links so for now you’ll see cell references.

Starting with the one single window sticker that was messed up VIN: 1G1FB3DS0L0113512 - The only information regarding this car: 2020 1LT Convertible in Rally Green Metallic, v6 with the A10, doesn't even have the hidden RPO codes

Rarest RPO - You can view all RPO codes from all the years on the Excel sheet, I only snipped the lowest 50

I did edit some of the locations as Excel didn't find them initially and I'm sure it attached some places to the wrong locations. I wish we had 2016-2019 data

Edit: Added some data from the Build Counts threads (RPO Code & Color only)

I've seen a car with the SCJ option, it might be still for sale. It was a car re-imported from Canada, and might have originally been some fleet car, with approximately half the 1LE package ordered as separate options: suspension, magnetic shocks, Recaro seats, and track mode, but no wheels, no front spoiler, no electronic diff, no suede steering wheel. Still had the snow mode.

Looks like Oklahoma is the Camaro capital of the US.

I think the count to MI is skewed because of how many of them that are shipped to GM.

I see a car with the SCJ option everytime I go into my garage . In all seriousness, I had no idea it was so rare.

All 6th gen’s should have Snow/Ice mode even the 1LE and ZL1’s, but the packaging is interesting to see. When I was searching for a 1LE I saw one car with this type of spec while I saw almost 100 1LE’s

100% skewed, you can see GM as #7 on the top dealers (including them being the #1 ZL1 allocation ). There’s another skew involving rental companies as the top 5 or so dealers are rental companies. That also skews the location since they send majority of those rentals to one location

I also want to note, these numbers are not exact. The data it’s coming from is through the GM window sticker API which is why it’s only 2020-2024 as the pre-2020 stickers weren’t uploaded by GM. I also looked at official build numbers released and these are all short a few hundred to almost a thousand. But it’s typically within a thousand of the real number so I’d say it’s a good estimate in terms of numbers and most/least quantities

Actually you can tell which ones are rental by looking at the dealer allocations, the top dealers with mainly 1LT and 2SS allocations are rentals so technically Rick Hendrick is #1 and Bomnin Chevrolet Dadeland is #2 for non-rental dealers

I think some of the lean towards Michigan is that company car drivers can spec a Camaro (or most any other GM vehicle), drive it as their assigned company car, and then purchase the car. That’s why Warren, MI pops on the list. That’s where the Tech Center and GM Fleet Vehicle Operations are located.

Oklahoma is the rental car registration capital of the US. Pretty sure that plays a lot into the numbers. Look how often the words “Hertz”, “Avis”, “Thrifty”, and “Fleet” appear in the dealership names near the top of the list.

Thanks Bumbleboy92 for putting this together. Awesome piece of work.

True, that’s why I put both a US and CAD for the highest/lowest priced as well as if a CE was the highest I put the next highest non-CE. I can split the MSRP graph into US and CAD but other than that the MSRP’s are from the window stickers

Updated MSRP graphs, split into USA/CAD cars as well, added Top 50 Dealers by Allocation excluding fleet/rental

That Morris Plains, NJ #2 top city by allocation looks suspicious, probably all rentals and not real sales. I lived there for 5 years and it's a small town with only small Chevy dealerships in the area (even lumping in Parsippany, Little Falls, Denville or Livingston), no way these bought 2,500 Camaros retail in 2020.

Morris Plains is a small portion of Parsippany and Morristown. Both towns have large populations and both are in Morris County , NJ which is currently the wealthiest county in the state. Perhaps the data should just say Morris County. Schumacher Chevrolet in Denville, Morris County sells a lot of Camaros -just to name one.

Great list, thanks for compiling it. Interesting seeing all the data for Canadian cars.
