Sharpy, it'll look exactly the same as a ZL1 rear end (except the exhaust if you didn't check the NPP option), just check out some ZL1 pictures. I have this spoiler on my 2SS.

when you search gm accessories for the lt1/ss models it comes up but i asked and they say only fits the ss. is there a difference in the trunks on an ss and lt1? when you search for the lt models that spoiler isnt an option.

so i guess my question is there a difference in the trunks between the models making there a reason why it wont fit? i have no spoiler or anything on mine.

thanks

The bolt/hole pattern is definitely different between the SS 1LE and non-1LE, or in other terms, pedestal style and directly attached spoilers, that much I know. The pedestal style pattern is the same across the SS, the ZL1 and the ZL1 1LE. Since you have a trunk lid with no holes, the ZL1 spoiler will fit but you obviously need to drill the six mounting holes (I did that for my previous 2LT, scary but not particularly challenging), that's why it's said not to fit, it isn't simply "plug and play".

What a goofball

Somebody has to say it

LT1 (I owned one) doesn’t need that it’s slim and trim. Maybe an SS spoiler but the other is overkill you’ll looklike a ricer

And your top speed is governed (I despise that word) to 150 lousy MPH just like a cop car due to the all weather tires that come standard

He wants the standard ZL1 spoiler, not the big waaang, though.

Isn't it the same as the SS wing?

No it’s not Fran I’ll shoot a pic of mine sitting together. ZL1 is bigger still. They’re both a good fit proportionally and performance wise

The ZL1 wing aLeo extends *beyond* the quarter panels. The SS does not.

ZR1-OK is right, but so is Fran, because the ZL1 convertible gets the same spoiler as the SS vert, the ZL1 spec standard spoiler is for the coupe only.

The reason I love this ZL1 spoiler is that its proportions are absolutely perfect for the car, the SS piece is a tad too narrow and short, at least for me.

Maybe because of the extra weight? Vert roof is retractable and has to raise that up?
I’ve never seen one changing the roof out
