Inital oil changes
I know this has been debated about needing to change the oil at 500 and 1500 miles and I could not find where I had read that. I finally found a document that states it.
Section 1 Engine Oil Maintenance Check engine oil with every refueling and add if necessary (oil and fuel consumption may be higher than normal during the first 1,500 miles) Please note: It is recommended that the first oil change occur at 500 miles. https://www.chevrolet.com/content/da...ackPREP-R3.pdf

Beautiful vert! (Yes I know about the vert debate) please do the 500 and 1500 oil change and at the very least do your first dump and fill on the rear differential at the 1500 if you plan on keeping this car. If you’re not the original owner, hopefully there is service documents.
