I would imagine the Katech is worth the coin

Looks like another 2019 showed up in the poll.
Now a total of two.
Neither of the two posted any comments or provided any input as to the circumstances for some reason.

Happy for you, unfortunately that means mine did not ship out in the first batch

UPDATE: Mine was shipped out in the first batch, just missed the email

All open orders have been shipped as of today. If you ordered one it's on the way.

Would someone please include year '20 & '21 also on the chart.
My best guess that they are on the same safe side like the ones from year '19, probably there was an improvement on the oil pump design.

It also would have been very informative to have been able to choose between ZL1s & SS Camaros, to see their tendency, from what I have read on this poll apparently the majority of oil pump failures were on the LT4s.

It would be nice to get a more complete list, but I think that's going to be difficult. Mine was built 3/14/17, so I'm sketched out. I ended up buying the extended warranty at the 3 year mark. I bought a 7 year GM warranty from Knapp Motors and got it to 2027. I made sure it showed up on my build when I got my last oil change. All there to 2027.

Yeah george, my 2017 was built about a month after yours(4-10-17) and so far it is good to go and no failure. Still keeping my fingers crossed though!

I did not check the oil pressure when the check engine light went off and it said "reduced power mode".
Did everything get resolved to you satisfaction? I apologize if I missed it.

No worries, no I did not provide any updates.

Yes the Katech Oil Pump was installed, it's actually the stock GM oil pump housing with some new internal parts that replace the weak ones. It's even shipped in a GM box haha. The dealership was great about it; my car took up a hoist while waiting for the oil pump to arrive.

I now have a brand new OEM oil pump I'm trying to sell to Katech since I'm not sure who else would want one.

Did you ever take a look at your door jam for the production date?

The Katech LT4 pumps in their pictures show a new blue-anodized CNC aluminum cover. Did yours not look like that?

Mine failed. a late 2017 model SS with maggie.
For those with symptoms such as approx 20 psi oil pressure after warm-up at idle without any other obvious symptoms - except for a very faint rumble sound at idle, very likely the pump cracked inside. I was lucky to catch it in time and seemed to crack clean, no pieces floating around.
