So what are you going to replace it with? Or not replacing it at all?

I will just have to see, but I do think I will need something with a decent sounding V8 (+) to really be satisfied. |

probably way off base but where ya located in wisconsin. that pic in the parking lot looks an awful lot like the building across the street where I used to store my boat in for the winter out in seymour. was a guy that manufactured rolls of caution tape and he rented out the unused side to store around 50 or 60 boats/rv's each winter.

Will you purchase something else right away or hang tight?

If I decide on ordering something, it could possibly be this month.. but I can't say for sure. For the majority of used vehicles, I certainly would NOT be paying these prices. You are asking to lose money once this market settles down to normal (or worse). So it depends... if I decide on something that I would be used - going to sit it out for quite awhile. If I decide on something new, I could be ordering relatively soon.

I forgot to add, the guy even came and picked the car up. It only took about 30 minutes of my time with the paperwork and talking cars, so I had little effort involved.

Same painless experience for me when I recently sold mine to a Ford dealership. I went there for an in-person appraisal to get more money (ended-up getting $1,500 more than their original email offer) and it only took about 30 minutes for the paperwork. They handled everything.

I’m kinda in the same boat, got an offer that’s more than what I paid 2 years ago that is extremely tempting as it would put enough cash in my hand to completely finish my 73 camaro that’s been an ongoing project for years now and do everything that I wanna have done at once (including dropping in a 572), but I just dont know, I do have attachment to my SS and think I would regret letting it go, especially with how good they look together...
