What we saw in July when I switched from the 2300 to the 2650 was substantial. I was running the 70mm pulley and running 16.5 to 17 psi of boost and had seen numbers on the dyno of 769 rwhp. After the switch running an 80mm pulley on about 13-14 psi of boost with the same fuel system, same 1000 cc nozzle on the MS109 837 and almost 800 rwtq on 24 degrees of timing compared to 25 degrees on the 2300. Intake temps were over 25 degree cooler even in the heat of summer. I don't run any kind of an ice box and those lower intake temps also proved out at the Camaro Fest and LS Fest where the temps were hot and muggy and Da was over 3000 every day at the CF and generally over 2500 at LS Fest. I have not been back on the dyno with the 75mm I ran at the LS Fest but I'm guessing we are making 860 rwhp on about 15 to 16 psi of boost. I know on the 80mm pulley we ran 9.61@144 and on the on the 75 we ran 9.41@146 but did have one pass that was 9.46@149. My fuel system is just the LT4 system with a boost pump. No other fuel system mods although I will probably upgrade my low side this winter and possibly run some E and 93 pump gas. Don't really care if I make anymore hp but would really like to save some money on fuel costs and those who run race fuel knows its 14 bucks a gallon. Not cool.

Might be a good idea to test the following.....

XDI pump, LT4 oem High Side, Cam lobe, and Lt4 injectors (figure how far this combo will take you) *power lever could save 4k on injectors and may make enough power to satisfy customers.

Same as above with plus 30lb save customer 2k going with FIC of course

anyway just a thought!

The XDI pump is an OEM LT4 pump the XDI system allows us to run 2, which is enough High side fuel for around 1400 RWHP.

The stock cam lobe would limit the on engine pump then we would have uneven flow 1 pump vs the other

Our Fore system has the same RWHP capability

Stock injectors will run out at the same power level with or without XDI pump.

We seen this already with the 30% over injectors, Plenty of low and high side fuel but injector limited the power.

Remember we only have a 6 millisecond time window to get the fuel in.

We are on the 60% over injectors now, the next step will be 100% over injectors, when they figure that out.

Ted.

Final Results 986 RWHP this is not the last pull we didn't catch it on video this is the one just before the final.

https://www.facebook.com/jannettyrac...5247689470669/

You can see the dyno sheet in this video of trying the 66mm pulley https://www.facebook.com/jannettyrac...9036236828897/

We tried a 66 mm pulley and the belt went up in smoke the customer opted to take the car so he could at least drive it for a weekend before the snow hit.

We will be doing a 427 Stroker in this car come early spring, we have already ordered all the parts for the build.

Ted.

Ted those are still great results and he has a bad ass ride. Gonna be hard to control that power on the street. Congrats on a wicked build and glad the 2650 worked out so well, I love mine and I'm 130 rwhp short of that bad boy. He can easily run low 9s with that power on a good drag radial or slick.

Ted I just noticed you are still running the old 4" intake tube instead of the Roto-Fab Big Gulp. I think you might have made the 1000 rwhp on that 70mm and the Gulp.

Ted what do you think the HP limit would be on pump 93 using the Mag 2650, cam, and low side fuel system? That might be as far as my money can go. Ive seen good number with other Superchargers but I cant pass up the cooling of the Mag 2650. I’d rather be down a few hp for more consistent times at the track. I’m not interested in adding any external coolers or ice tanks. I hoping the 2650 will provide enough cooling on its own.

I recently finished up one of the JRE Superstreet Brawler packages on an ZL-1 made 840 RWHP on pump gas.

Ted, that looks like a great set up. I think this is the route I’d like to take with my build. Anything over 800 whp is more than enough for high 9s I think.

Ted tuned my car to 756 rwhp and I have a handful of 9 sec passes. This is a great route to go.

I have a question Ted regarding the new, cheaper 3200 XDI pump. Can it be used with an LT4 hpfp on the engine or do the two pumps need to be the same? As in LT1s use 3200s only and LT4s use 3600. Basically will the two different pressures balance and work

The cheaper pump is a belt driven lt1 pump and matches to lt1s..

You could get a lt1 pump easy and use the cheaper XDI settle for a little less power.

I realize that it is an LT1 pump. But if you have a 38% driven LT4 pump, if it would work with the new, cheaper XDI lt1 pump, it should supply all you would ever need. The fact that they operate at different pressure concerns me. I figure the switch back to an LT1 would be required.
