As mentioned, the carpro QD blend is amazing. I basically use it as a drying aid too and it really does add a lot of gloss. I learned about the blend on here but I forget who shared it.

It goes on with a very silky spread, and looks slightly like silicone or oil, which makes it very easy to see where you've been. It does not flash off immediately like reload or mckees, but hangs around for about 30-45 seconds so you can make sure you got a complete, level spread. Then a quick buff with a microfiber and it's done..... no streaks.....ever....even in an overhead sun application. I'm sold… for now....

The Blackfire works fine with essence too.....

I borrowed a friend's bottle of the McKees stuff when he was over and sprayed it on the water spots on the trunk of my car. They are gone! Vinegar and CarPro Waterspot remover did nothing. I ordered this stuff!! I hope this stuff is as good as my initial impression.

I mixed up a TAC System version with the same ratios ratios you mentioned for the CarPro ingredients. I plan on ordering Ech02 soon so maybe I'll do a comparison. I know the two companies make products that a very close, but they do not seem to be identical, so we shall see.

I do not recommend TAC System mix for a QD. Seems way too oily.

I made a big mistake - TAC System Water Glass = CarPro Hydr02. What I needed was CarPro Ech02 or equal. How embarrasing!

After using V07 wax / sealant for a couple weeks now, wish I could take that gallon off your hands. The rain seems to have no effect on this product. Beading is remaining consistent. Within just a few days, beading would start to deteriorate with Reload. When it was dry, it was great, but for some reason, it wouldn't survive long in the rain. In all fairness, I never polished the paint so that, as Glen suggested, may be the reason.

Even if all I get is a month's survival in the rainy weather, I'll be happy. The gloss is also very good.
