LT4 HPFP swap question

Can someone who has done the LT4 HPFP swap confirm this is what the new pipe is supposed to look like on the left? Old one had some sort of sealant but the brand new AC Delco 12677004 one doesn’t.

Just changed mine the other night and it was the same as yours. I wondered the same thing. But... it’s working so far.

Thanks, threw me off and had me concerned. Did you loctite it or just torque it and send it?

Torqued it down to the “mechanic spec” then sent it!

The blue material is sealant designed for fuel line fittings. Comes out watery and thickens up in about 30seconds. I let it dry up and then install the line or whatever I'm working on. I reused all my lines without issue.
