First spring cruise

So i took the car out today for a good 40 mile trip. This is after many upgrades over the winter. Jre posi mod, poly offset diff bushings, lpw cover, bmr trailing arms toe links, 1.5 front 1.4 rear lowering springs RST X5 bmr adjustable rear sway bar. JRE rough idle cam with all the valvetrain stuff. JMS voltage booster. Aftermarket heritage grill. I haven't changed my pulley to get my 10psi back yet so i'm at about 8psi currently, pulley comes in next week. So the ride height is great i think it's just right for me. I don't think it dropped the full amount more like 1.25" maybe it will settle a bit more which will still be ok. She rides stiffer for sure but not bad at all handling i can feel is much tighter feels like a damn go cart in light cornering. You can feel the wheel get heavy and the weight of the car once you start pushing the corners. I'm not a road course guy though. I didn't beat on the engine much as i'm still on the base tune. Watching my afr closely i have been able to do some pulls and it is a noticeable difference. 2nd gear feels like it's pulling almost as hard as first used to and i lost a bit of traction in 3rd a couple times. Gonna be a lot to handle on these tires with another couple lbs of boost but damn she pulls hard now even. I can still cruise at around 1500 rpm with no issues on flat ground as well but i tend to stay in 5th at around 2k instead because my terrain around here is pretty hilly. Great street manners. She will buck slowly going through a parking lot at low rpm but that is too be expected and may get better after a dynotune.

I've had BMR 1.25 springs for a couple years now, uninstalled, afraid due to our smooth New England roads.

Why are you using a BMW SUV rear sway bar?

The roads around me aren't too bad. I was afraid it was going to be too low but it's a good ride height. Definitely more bumpy though.

Nice man, glad you got to enjoy it, even if for a short trip. That's a lot of stuff you got done and I bet it feels amazing. I couldn't imagine having to put the car away for half a year every year. But it gives you plenty of time to do stuff like this.

I agree....Hell, I wanna take BOTH my Camaro AND Vette out, but ya' risk a $500 fine if ya get caught without a viable explanation. I PROBBY wouldn't get caught, and I PROBBY could come up with a story, but in all truth, I don't even have insurance on the Camaro yet (still "laid up" for winter)….but I do have year 'round insurance on the Vette due to gettin' reasonable insurance for an "historical" vehicle ('79).

Lol i don't know if there's any fine here, and i really don't care. Me driving in my car is not risking me or anyone else of getting sick. If i got pulled over i'm simply getting groceries.... what you dont believe this is my grocery getter?
Honestly there's no less car traffic here than any other day. Which isn't a lot, i live in the boonies and cruise the country roads.

You know, as much as i hate putting the car away for the winter it's a good thing too. You really appreciate it, and the motorcycle ride when spring rolls around, it's a really big high that first warm month. Plus it helps keep the miles lower! If i drove it every day it might lose some of its luster lol.

I did mess up my lr wheel speed sensor though i think. Got a c0045 code intermittently, must have buggered up the harness when i was getting the bushing out of the knuckle some how.

$500 dollar fine for driving your car?
Who are you going to infect or get infected by taking a drive?
Sounds like communist Russia.
Dear Lord, I had no idea it was getting that crazy!
