How to keep the birds out?

So I have a bird wanting to start a family in my tailpipe... Anyone ever deal with this nonsense? I always remote start my car. And a few weeks ago I noticed straw/hay and foam pieces behind my car and was like wtf. One evening I saw a bird go into my exhaust pipe. I made some covers out of pie tins. But I’m getting tired of putting them on and off every time I drive my car. Thinking about a mouse trap in each exhaust. Any ideas lol?

Guess I’d stick with covers before I went with traps. Catch one, more will come, undoubtably.

Or just put some catnip by the tailpipes.

Yea sadly the drivers in my neighborhood are ruthless. Not many roaming cats.
Thought about pellet gun but too many houses and cars around. Lol

Well this is the first year it’s happened. So I’m thinking a rouge bird maybe lol. I kept the covers on for probably 2-3 weeks hoping they would build somewhere else. Not yet. Maybe I give it another week.

Car cover. Park car in different location. Maybe fabricate some coarse screens with hose clamps that you could leave on temporarily. Post pictures of screens installed, tell people it adds 3-5 HP. You may be surprised how many people believe you.

Window screening or heavy duty aluminum foil/wrap and rubber bands?

But then you would need the naked lady mud flaps too. Fine for a Mustang or Charger certainly, just not a Camaro.

Oh wait...it might class up a 6th gen come to think on it.

Drive the car more often. Birds can't build a nest in a moving car.

They will rebuild and rebuild and rebuild every day, being birdbrains.

Covers are the only answer, not matter how inconvenient.

Lol it’s my DD. I drive it every day. And every morning when I remote start it I go outside to a birds nest blown all over my driveway. I literally couldn’t drive it more unless I was a traveling sales person. Lol.
