N2NB Racing 2step Launch control Box

Has anyone one ever tried this 2 step before. As you know manual cars need all the help we can to be consistent.

I did seriously consider using it, but in the end I went with the Lingenfelter CTAP and 2-step.

I think I'm going give it a go I like the no lift feature. I know my transmission will because I show no love to her when I start banging gears.

I think you still need a clutch switch to activate it. Let use know how it works?

I am getting ready to buy a 2 step as well. This thing looks like it will do the job. Do you know if this needs the clutch(CTAP) to work correctly?

From Everything I've read on there website there's no mention of needing CTAP to work properly. I sent them an email and asked a ton of questions because I run my nitrous through WOT switch. They haven't responded yet maybe it's the holidays.

It works good for the price and yes you still have to push the clutch to make it work, it kills the ignition 75 to 200 milliseconds (it will go lower or higher for kill time, depends on how quick you can hit the clutch and pull the lever) so it goes in gear a lot easier allowing quicker shifts and you keep the throttle floored so you don't lose boost in between shifts and have to build it back up on boosted cars, boost stays up like the automatic guys and the rpm doesn't fall as much either netting you a tenth or two in et vs not being able to keep it floored.

PS, make sure you ask for a password to go into advance features, the Camaro can be fine tuned to engage the system anywhere you like in the clutch travel because the voltage basically 0, .1. 234, 1.222, 1.66, 2.345 and so on to 5 volts and you can set the kill engagement on the money allowing you to lower the kill time and shift even faster than the base setup.

I think I am going to give this one a try as well. I also emailed them asking if you needed a CTAP for the Camaro. It looks like it does the same thing as the Lingenfelter setup plus has the no lift shift feature.

This is straight from the horses mouth
" You should not need a clutch switch. The WOT Box can use your cruise control clutch switch signal.
You can add our nitrous add-on to control your nitrous:
http://www.npcompleteperformance.com/wotbox/nitrous
It will automatically stop spraying any time the clutch is down, to prevent spraying nitrous whenever the no-lift shift or launch control are active."

Keep us posted to what they say about needing any separate clutch switch or is this an all in one unit.

@BFAST you don't need it my previous post was from the email they sent me. Our cruise control clutch switch is what it uses.

So you release the clutch with your foot and at the same time you use the cruise button to release the 2-step?

No separate switch needed.

The green wire from the WOTbox gets spliced into the position 26 yellow wire of the X1 ECU connector which is a clutch signal.

They'll send you a wiring database that tells where each wire goes exactly where on various vehicles.
