IM just glad its off TV
I dunno I member when it was a big deal, then the stike happened and I liked not having prime time TV messed up for baseball like last sunday. Plus I like it better on the radio. Can't say why, maybe cause I member Grandpa listening to it on the static AM dial. And its easy to follow or see in your head whats going on. Football doens't carry well on radio. |

Baseball has allways been better on radio. I think because you can actually get work done and still enjoy the game. Takes a real good person to 'Set' you in the game though. I allways liked Dave Niehouse in Seattle. |

well i grew up in L.A. listening to Vin Scully, and i can attest to the virtues of radio. Hearing him call a home run, and then just letting the roar of the crowd take over is completely different than two goofs yammering on and on and screaming about something i can see for myself on the tv.

In Seattle, even if the game was on TV, we turned it down and turned the radio on. I agree 100% |
