That's effing crazy - but you walked away so that's amazing.

I feel you though - I've have several people plow into me
Last guy ripped my bumper off and caused 10k worth or damage. It's kinda crazy how much damage these cars can take without being totaled.

Take her to court to get it on record atleast. Never know what you will get in the future if she does come across some money.

The body shop is fixing it along with the deer injuries.. kinda throwing it in as a "I think the deer did that too," type of deal. Shhhh..

This was probably Kharma

To the OP: In your photo album, your car has a license plate that says "envy me" on it.

Get rid of that plate immediately if you want to change your luck. Carrying a sign that says "envy me" is asking for trouble.

I changed it 2 months after the shooting, now it's a random toss-up. Poor choosing on my behalf.

That's rather unfortunate.

May I suggest better insurance for your "nice things"? Uninsured/underinsured coverage is like $2/mo/vehicle. Rental car reimbursement is likely less than $5/mo. I don't really consider my 2SS/RS a "nice thing", but I maintain proper coverage (not to be confused with the state minimum) on it just as I do my nicer car.

I also agree that that does not look like bullet damages, more like hammer damage.

Thanks for the post, but it's fully insured through StateFarm. Rental is an extra $13.00 a month because I thought I may need it for the next deer I encounter. ...and when you are 23 years old and own a Camaro, or any car for that matter, you should consider it a "nice thing." It beats walking or taking the bus. Also, like I said in some of my previous posts, the casing were found laying on the ground, and one of the 3 bullets were lodged in the dash. I would take a few pictures of it, but the dash has already been fixed and the car is 12 hours away in a body shop.

I'm not a superstitious guy but I've been around 2 vehicles that just needed crushed. A 72 Camaro that just couldn't stay away from random odd damage and a 600 Ninja that was wrecked 10 minutes after Leaving the dealership. Being in the military cars and bikes got traded around a lot. That Ninja must have gone through 10 guys and everyone of them wrecked it within weeks of owning it. It took an underage drinker to total it and he was booted out of the service to break that chain. I'd cut my losses on that particular Camaro
