I agree with 22SS1LE, I think you got the wrong mirrors on your car. Mine are also satin black that match the hood, splitter and trunk spoiler.

Those badges don’t mean anything to those that don’t know Camaro’s and those that do know will know w/o badges.

The more I look at it I'm a no on the handles too. For whatever reason they make the handles look cheap. Reminds me of when most cars used to come with black handles.

To each his own. I have to disagree with your about the hash marks and 1LE emblems. I like and installed both. What I didn't like was the standard Camaro emblem/crest on the side of the fender. That's the first thing I removed from the car.

My mirrors have PPF on them. Perhaps that is why they look more glossy. The hood wrap is actually matte black.

I agree. It makes no sense that they didn't come from the factory with 1LE emblems. It's not just a standard SS, it deserves it's own emblem. The LT1's come with it, why not 1LE?

I'm right there with you. And seeing the LT1 emblem made me think the fender is the perfect place for the 1LE emblem. I just chose to put my where the Camaro emblem/crest was, rather than higher up like the LT1 emblem.

i put the 1LE emblem on as well in place of the crest. I cant stand the look of chrome and the crest being chrome drove me nuts. Plus I paid for a 1LE and it should have had that badge from factory

1) Replaced the driver’s side dive plane due to cosmetic damage (long story). 45mins. Video below was super helpful. I ordered 3 extra clips just in case (new ones are black). I did break 1 clip….actually on purpose (if you’ve done this surgery you know).

2) Figured while I had the wheel off I’d replace the brake ducts with the Cadillac V units. Super easy, 3 screws about 15mins per side due to taking the wheel off. Looks like it’s got about 150% scooping surface area.

Trims get badges. The LT1, SS and ZL1 are trims, the 1LE is just a package and can be optioned on most trims.
