How does your dead pedal attach? I see several mention they are using super glue or loctite, but what is everyone gluing the deal pedal to?

I personally used Loctite superglue.

It attaches to the existing plastic-only dead pedal in the car. Please see below link to previous customer (auto, not manual) that shows the before and after of installation. (Thanks TenSeven for posting this!): https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...3&postcount=79

Awesome! So $35 for the dead pedal, correct?

Dearest customers,

As I have just learned the hard way, the 2019 gas pedals are ~1cm shorter than the 2016-18 gas pedals. So, I will be unable to sell full sets to 2019+ owners.

That being said, the dead pedals continue to fit 2019s, so I will continue to sell those to 2019+ owners until I hear back otherwise.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. It boggles my mind that they would make such a minor change, but ultimately I should have checked that the part numbers were the same across the years.

~Sean

Good morning,

I have 16 dead pedals remaining. Whether they are sold by themselves or as part of the set, I only have 16 left. As mentioned awhile ago, I do not plan on re-making these again once they are gone. Please note that the dead pedal inlays are also sold to automatic owners as well.

Sean’s craftsmanship on these dead pedals is second to none! I couldn’t find a sharp edge or scratch anywhere. These are well worth the money & his communication is excellent!

I can second that, the dead pedal cover I purchased from him is 100% OEM quality, seamless parallel edges and perfect fitment, no one can tell it didn't come from the factory. Well, short of my mildly sucky glueing job, but that is my fault entirely.

+1

Sean's dead pedals are definitely an awesome product and his communication is excellent!!!

@arpad_m...I also did a mildly sucky gluing job

I learned the hard way that it's better to use Gorilla Super Glue Gel instead of Loctite 406. The super glue doesn't run plus it's cheaper.
