May be buying ZL1 tomorrow! Is this a good deal? Dealership said they price match!
Hyper Blue ZL1
Automatic $1595 Carbon hood insert $600 MSRP Nav $495 Wheel locks $95 All weather mats $160 Destination charge $995 Gas guzzler tax $2100 We are now at $61,850 on a $68,040 MSRP car ... Pull the trigger? Am I missing anything else here? (do you have proof I can show them) |

Good deal if it's a 2019. They're losing money to sell you the car.

You did better than I did on the 17, but the early 50th's just hitting the floor had demand & was happy to get 3k off due to incentives offered at the time.
I don't think it's a smoking deal as have seen folks claim to get them in the 50's regularly...do you have any gm incentives that can be shared / applied?? My personal feeling is if the car has ALL the options you want, will bring you joy & most importantly easily afford, then do it. If you are stressed about the $$$$, then I would search for a good clean used one which should not be a problem. |

It's a decent price. Consider these (usually over-priced) Miami areas cars as a reference. These prices are real, no BS. They will sell the cars for $61K for A10 ZL1's, amd $65K for M6 ZL1 1LE.... https://www.miamilakesautomall.com/new-chevrolet-miami-lakes-fl?_gmod%5B0%5D=Dfe_Modules_VehiclePrice_Module&_g mod%5B1%5D=Dfe_Modules_CustomizePayment_Module&dir ection=asc&t=n&year[]=2019&make[]=Chevrolet&model[]=Camaro&trim[]=ZL1&sf=sf_year,sf_model,sf_trim

Yes that’s a good deal! I say if you really want and like it then go for it! Consider this, my used 2017 ZL1 I bought back in March was just about $9000.00 less than that new 2019! So yes I say it’s a good deal!

I think this is an excellent price as long as they don’t hit you with an unreasonable doc fee and they’re being honest about any incentives you may qualify for. I know I couldn’t get anywhere near that good of a deal in my area.

Sounds about right, I'm working same deal on Zl1..MSRP is 68.2, getting it out the door for 61.2, I was able to get GM supplier discount, I worked on this with dealer via internet(emails)...they eventually came down on price and I went up on my amount I wanted to pay. This Saturday I'll be taking 3 hr drive for the deal. Yours has nav and locks and mat, I have sun roof with A10 with carbon Fiber hood insert. Good luck

Its kind of like the heated/cooled seats and heated steering wheel. If you've never had them, you'd never know what you are missing. When you finally have it...there is no going back. Lol. Love my pdr. So much fun and great peace of mind recording on daily drives in case anything happens.

61.2k was just the deal for the car I still have to pay tax, I went out of state to get deal, the same car from the dealer I purchased my vette, would not deal with me on ZL1, in long run I save about 5 k from his quote, he was holding to his price, so I search and found this camaro 3 hrs away.

Out the door includes tax/tag/title/fees/everything. Literally the total amount you pay to drive the car out the door.
Hyper Blue is a 2018 color. So basically $7k off for a 2 model year old coupe w/o PDR. No it's not the greatest deal, IMO. If you can get it for 61k out the door then it's a better deal, but understand your immediate depreciation when driving it off the lot will be based on 2 years. OP: Compare what they sell for used low miles 2 years old and that will tell you something and give you better negotiating leverage. For example: https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/invent...sModified=true |
