Who's keeping their Camaro for the long run?

I'm just curious because it seems as though the culture has shifted and more and more people are only worried about making the monthly payments or lease deals for their cars until the next new thing comes out, but I still have that old fashioned pride in ownership, hence why I want to keep my car for the long run. I'm not really worried about keeping the miles down for the next guy, but I will keep my car in pristine condition, both functionally and aesthetically for myself. I'm just wondering how many people out there are in the same boat as me? And if you're not that's fine too, but I bought this particular car because I fell in love with it when I rented it out west. Chevy got it right from 2016-2018.

That's exactly how I feel. I sold my '01 SS at 245,000 miles because I keep my cars for a while. This one isn't going anywhere for a long time.

I'm planning on doing the same. 8-10 years at least.

WOW! Thats quite impressive! This is my first time being a part of the Chevy family, I'm guessing that they're pretty reliable vehicles even in their performance spectrum given you got 245k out of yours!

I’m planning on hanging on to my 2017 ZL1 for as long as possible or until I can’t drive it anymore or something happens to it. My ZL1 is the best Camaro I have had over the years!

I’m keeping my 2017 ZL1 long term. It’s wonderful platform and a blank canvas to make my own over time. Don’t see anything worthy to replace it.

Keeping mine til either I can't drive it anymore or the wheels fall off.

(BTW, we have a '96 Jeep GC w/253k that we purchased new.)

Just my $0.02.

I am. I buy a car in cash every 10 years or about every 10 years. Ill never allow a bank to own a car that I drive, so in that decade I save up as much as I can. I only own my cars, not borrow, rent or lease.

Bought mine with cash, 735 miles on it for 35% off sticker price. Keep in in the garage, and have yet to drive it in the rain or on salty roads. Putting about 5k miles on it a year and keeping it detailed. I plan on keeping it a long time.

My brother got mine off of Manheim. No payments due, but I’m keeping it for as long as possible.
