Back at it again 1/4 mile...

Well Friday before last I hit up the track. DA was 1580 using dragtimes. AirDensity was 1956. I only got 2 passes and I was feeling out the car to the track. I went 12.35@113.1 which corrected to a 12.13@115.16 using dragtimes calculator.

This last Friday the DA was 2193 DT/2456 AD. I was leaving more aggressive bringing in power sooner. My 60ft improved over the previous 1.96 to 1.94 but due to the higher DA my 1/8 dropped to 8.08 vs 8.06. I still went 12.37@113.6 which corrected to 12.05@116.6

The sun went down and the track went away while the DA did drop down to 1650. 60ft's went away but I did trap 114.0 on one pass.

Take it all off, press the button twice and leave right off idle. The fast list does not take correction into account when you turn in your times.

What's the advantage? Seems like some say leave it on and others say turn it off. Does it give and advantage to drag racing?

I don't turn in corrected times.

My best pass is a 12.35 but I use the corrected times to see what its capable of when the weather here cools off between November-March. That's when we see the 900 to -1100 DA.

The same DA that most of the STOCK,STOCK,STOCK 11 sec 6th gen Camaros have run their times in. Granted you do need the track to hold the power on street tires. Doesn't only take good DA.

In Track mode, I turn everything off, press the button once then press it for the second time and hold it until both lights come on.(5 to 10 seconds) It turns off competition mode off. Both are turn off now (traction and stability control)....

We are lucky to see sea level air in the cooler months. I have never run in -1,100 of air in central Texas. If the DA is that low its usually too cold for any of tracks to be open.

The most I have seen hear is -532 but I know a few times checking it for other it was -11xx. But the track was not holding crap. Houston trip may be required.. but then again some have done it down around 200
