Also be careful not to dump the launch, I have heard of broken axles. But not any broken diffs yet. Also when you get a good launch your mph might go down and so will your ET.
Like I said earlier I only got 1 pass, didnt smoke the tires only cleaned them up. No real wheel hop just a little wheel spin. I might have been reving a little high at 4000 when I launched.

You probably are slower than street tires if you are only cleaning off Drag Radials, really need a healthy burnout to get them to stick. Otherwise they are worse off than those goodyears. I cut a 1.95 on street tire in my M6. I have mickey thompsons that I'm bringing with me when I hit the 1/4 this weekend. Hoping to hit 1.8 60ft and break 11s.
cool let me know, also let me know what you do to get the best launch with the DR's!!

I was running the DR's at 20lbs, was going to try 15lbs on next pass with a burn out that never happened

+1. May want to try this technique- Get about a foot or two out of the water box and do a standing burnout. heat'em up till you see smoke and let of the gas THEN the brake so you don't "power out" of the burnout. This way will help keep your tires sticky and be a little easier on the axles.

Also, sounds like you maybe using launch control, yes? if so practice leaving without it, you'll get better 60fts that way eventually.

I do the opposite with my slicks. 18-20 psi, pull just to the edge of the water, up to 70 mph in 2nd gear, lots of smoke, and power out. They're sticky enough to grab even a 130+ degree track.

OP, Definitely don't use launch control, but if those radials bite as hard as the slicks did, the warranty is awesome! Launch control may keep it from breaking though. Very nice pass!

I'd go down to about 16-18 on pressure. Radials don't usually like less then 16. You'll definitely get an 11.xx pass out of it with time. I'm at 12.04, and needing some better air.

Got a bunch of runs in on the weekend but was stuck at 12.3 and very consistent at 60 feet was all around 1.9 and as you can see in attached video Im getting off pretty good. Sorry about the Mustang beating me guys... he ran 11.90. Having said that found out after the run it was a supercharged Coyote so I felt better!! BTW was real hot and humid didnt get DA though.
