I thought about putting one in my ‘16 but decided against it because of the difficulty and time involved to install the Hurst shifter. My 2010 SS Hurst shifter install was easy compared to what I have read about the 6 gen shifter. Yes I had a Hurst in my ‘87 IROC Z28 and my ‘98 SS too.

I just had to tighten my screw last week. It was loose for awhile....
I noticed a little play between the shift knob and the selector shaft without the screw so I put one piece of electrical tape on the shaft. The knob fit on tight without any play. Tightened the screw and good to go.

Mine rattles quite a bit under acceleration in 3rd and a bit less in 5th. I understand there is a TSB number for reference so I can take it with me? Many thanks.

Easily doable by yourself. I did it in 15 minutes but the fix didn't work. Less rattle, but not completely gone.
