Isn't max hp on a P1SC like 800 crank hp? Im not sure why you would go +30's unless you plan to update your head unit but not a bad idea to buy once vs lt4 then re-buy and at that point you could also just look at PI.

I’m at 707 wheel with the P1SC. Also Only at 7-8 lbs of boost…..4inch pulley. Discussing plans with my builder as we speak to up the boost to 10lbs. I think 800 is based on stock cam.

Nice to see the little base blowers putting in hard work, good numbers.

On which fuel type are you getting this number?
Did you upgrade fueling components (Injectors Fuel pumps)?
Is your engine otherwise stock / SBE?

93 octane. As mentioned, my build is almost exactly what the OP was asking about. He was hoping to hit 700 at the wheels. I have LT4 fuel, heads, cam, etc….. I am SBE and currently peak between 7-8lbs of boost. My cam has the following specs with a 32% fuel lobe:

Intake: 228 @ .050
Exhaust: 240 @ .050
Intake lift: .646”
Exhaust lift: .646”
Lobe separation: 116

Very well Heads and Cam make a difference for sure. Guess that if the engine remained with the stock heads and cam as well, max safe / detonation free power levels to the wheels on pump 93 would not exceed~ 530-540 R-WHP

Completely stock, with stock fuel and only the procharger, with procharger canned tune, the car dynoed at 545. After adding just LT4 fuel and doing a custom tune, it dynoed at 589 (same dyno). 707 was also on the same dyno. Boost level has been the same throughout the build process.

These numbers were all on 93? 127 hp gain from cam etc? What tuner in Mi? I have a P1-X with 3.9” pulley I’m installing in the next few weeks, I’m hoping to be able to run e85. I have the LT4 stuff with DSX aux kit. I’m also in Mi. I don’t want to mess with meth or anything. If I have to drop psi down to run e85 I may go that route. I’ve been told by quite a few that I will be ok until around 640 wheel, but have also been told if I run @ 5psi on e85 it will be around 600 wheel. I don’t know what to think anymore lol

Yes, 93. Cam, heads, headers, etc……I was told I don’t have enough fuel system left for E.

Nice power!! How much boost you running with those numbers? I may just try to run with 5psi 1st and see if my setup can support the e85 and go up from there. If it makes 550 whp to 625 whp on e85 I’d be happy. I’m sure it will be a blast. I just want to have the extra safety with e85 on sbe. Thanks

I just noticed your dyno sheet, you had Dan tune it?

7-8lbs peak boost. I’ve had the same boost level for each step in the build process. Yes….they do all my work, including the tune. (I’ve been going there for years.) I want E for same reason you do…..I just don’t think I can make it work.

Right on. Thx for the feedback. Now it has me thinking this might not be possible. I’m gonna stay hopeful for now. Thing has to be a blast to drive? Ever take it to the track?

Sounds good. Tuner at Livernois Dearborne knows his stuff for sure
LT4 Fueling @~ 7.5-8 PSI on Pump 93 everything else stock LT1 resulting in
589 R-WHP is a respectable figure, provided it can last a while, without breaking the stock ring-lands as a DD-Spirited street car.
