Alcantara to leather on Recaros
Does anyone know if it’s possible and economical to have an auto upholsterer convert the Recaros and the back “seats” in an 2SS 1LE to full-grain leather and still keep the heat & air seats? I don’t like Alcantara but I want to keep the Recaros. I’m looking to convert the console cover, shifter boot, and steering wheel also.

Check out Katzkin leather they may have a kit to just replace it.

I didn’t think to look on YouTube. leather seats.com has a video on changing it out. Looks like they have what is needed to convert to leather. I’m not that handy, Hope I can find somebody who is really good at auto upholstery in Valdosta or Central Florida, my two homes, to do it.

an upholstery shop should be able to do that, no problem.
