I’ve got the Milwaukee version as I like that they have 3 zillion tools that all use the same battery packs, but the Ryobi one you posted should be fine too.

I use a Bosch version. It’s only rated to 95 lb-ft but that’s plenty. I use a torque wrench to tighten and loosen anyway, and only use the impact to quickly do the first or last 75% of the work

I use Milwaukee M12 FUEL STUBBY 1/2" IMPACT WRENCH KIT with 4.0 battery. Recently upgraded to a 6.0 battery. Works great for taking them off and putting them on quickly without over torqueing. Use without an extension for best results. Also use racing type lugnuts.

If going with Ryobi, Get this one. ( https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ON...oduct-overview ) has 600ftlbs of breakaway trq... Please use a trq wrench though when reinstalling lugnuts.

I got into the Ridgid ecosystem due to their lifetime battery warranty. I've used their 1/2" impact for almost two years without issue.

Echo this.

I use the equivalent Milwaukee M18 mid-torque with 600ft-lbs breakaway and wouldn't use anything less powerful. With the 140 ft-lbs spec, the lower torque models will often take their time at breaking the lugs...and be unable to often enough to be annoying. The mid-torque guns will take them off like butter every time until the battery is nearly dead.

I had that but because of the lack of torque it was a little hard to get the camaro lugs off. went all out and got the Milwaukee 18v. works like a charm zero issues.

I have dewalt 20V version, its heavy, LOUD and does not always break them loose, breaker bar for that and then gun to zip on or off for torque wrench.

I tried the $99 Kobalt 1/2 drive impact from Lowe's that was advertised as having up to 200 ft lbs of torque on the box since I already had a compatible battery but it took a long time to break the lug nuts loose and sometimes couldn't do it at all so I returned it and got this $100 greenworks impact with battery and charger from Amazon which works well so far. The middle setting is a little under 140 ft lbs so I am going to buy a torque stick to use with the highest speed setting to avoid needing to manually use my torque wrench.

Keep in mind that the larger impacts will probably be harder or impossible to use for some other tightening/loosening tasks on the car because of their size compared to less powerful impacts and limited clearance to work in wheel wells and under the car if using a jack and jack stands. The greenworks one that I linked to above barely fit for snugging up the front brake caliper bolts and still required using an impact rated u joint for the top one.

Breaking the top bolt loose also required a long breaker bar underneath the car with it on a lift since the plug in electric impact that I bought with 1050 ft lbs of breakaway force wasn't enough with the u joint, even after heating the bolt with a handheld propane torch for a few minutes. All of that to say that having a larger impact may not actually be beneficial in practice.
