RE-11s. Put them on a 50 miles. 325’s in the rear. Car has 3600 on it now. Good on the street.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, 305/30/19 at all corners. Great street tire. Works well for my Auto X attempts. Warm weather tire only but that's not a problem here in Az.

PS4S hands down...although I hear great things about the continental extreme contact, but I can only speak to those on a suburban (and they were excellent).

Hello,

i am using Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 on all 4.
This Tire,when he has its Temperature the Grip is incredible.
As you now,here in Switzerland we have beautifull Mountain-Roads whith
hundreds of corners ans turns.
If you are a trained Mountain Driver ( ! ) with the Z ans this Tires you are
ready to hount even Motorcycles and really fast Sport Cars.
Bevor i owned a Subaru WRX STI 04 which is also not that bad for corners on
Mountain-Roads.
Believe me,the Pilot Sport Cup2 are "Killer-Tires".
But when its cold ------ forget it.
Then,this Tires are dangerous !

I put on Michelin Pilot sport cup 2's a few years ago. Size 305/35/19, a slightly taller tire for more ground clearance, for street driving. They also have a very thick flange to prevent wheel damage when parking next to curbs. They have helped me save my wheels from curb rash a few times. I like them fine but if I had to do it over I would have gotten the 325's. The 305's look too small on the rims and do not have that square tire look. I had a flat a few years ago and plugged it myself and it has been fine ever since. NO leaks!!

Great information, I appreciate the feedback! I bought my Z/28 used with 3600 miles on the clock last month. It came with a new set of Falken 305/30’s on all corners. So far so good, but I don’t have any comparison. How does your current tires compare to the OEM Trorfeo’s ?

Glad this thread started up, was looking yesterday for a set of tires.

Going on my 5th set, 2 sets of Trefeo R, 1 GoodYear r3 and last set are the Toyo r888rs. the best tire for times where the Trefeos then the Toyos and lastly the Goodyears, never could get them at the right temp and pressure and they melted away.

The Toyos were great all around but they are so noisy if you do any street driving.

Has anyone used the Nitto NT01? And those who are running Cup 2s how many HPDEs do you get out of a set?

Falken 660's in 315/30/19 on factory wheels and Yokohama Advan A052 in 315/30/18 on Apex Forged wheels (18x11 square).

Race autocross a lot. Only did 1/2 an event on the Yoks and supposedly they need more time to heat cycles into shape. Falkens have been real good for the first 60-70 runs. They work good in the wet too.

I don't know why I forgot to ask the OP the most important question: What are you going to do with the car? Weekend cars and coffee, DD, HPDE, Auto X? If competing are you going to trailer or drive to the track? Many good tire choices out there but none of them are cheap. The intended (and realistic) purpose of the vehicle will help in tire decision.

Thanks for asking! For now just getting some seat time on the street and learning how the responds. Maybe auto x in the future.
