Tim Lally Chevrolet has some ZL1's. Most are 10speeds but they are priced "reasonable"

They even have a Callaway ZL1. I would call because they probably give you a better deal over the phone if you're serious...

All of their used Camaros are terribly priced if you ask me, namely the 1LE's. >$53K for a 2SS 1LE with PDR with 10K miles? I dunno, if they came down at least 2-3 grand on it, maybe. Maybe it's priced to haggle down. If not, yeesh. Not hard to find one at MSRP now, really.

The Callaway is probably the "most reasonable", I guess.

Agreed, they were trying to get $65k or so for a used satin steel 2ss 1le in the Fall.

Thats good that GM is catching on to this BUT it's hard to judge since they're not making enough vehicles based on these times...

Used to be that opening up in an Incognito window would let you in, but I guess these media outlets are putting up paywalls that are harder to get around. Given how much free information is out there, and how they tend to bombard you with their advertising that these guys would stop trying to find ways to line their pockets even more.

As for the article, I think I read something about Ford pressuring their dealerships the same way. It's nice to see that these companies are trying to reign in their dealership network.

If you pay over MRSP you have more money than brains or a complete lack of patience.

I'm waiting for someone to give me 50k for my 21 Crush 1LE, so I can turn around and order a ZL1 1LE :-) Everything is boners right now. So happy I found a smaller local dealer last January who didn't play games.

I think some people really think that there are more constraints coming down and think that they have to act fast. I am actually ok with these people plunking down more for a Camaro than MSRP as it only makes it look better on paper when I paid for COUGHmsrpCOUGH. This will only drive up the price for everyone else, which I'd rather have that than buy at MSRP and then a year later the car be worth less than half.

Always compare price = OUT THE DOOR

Let them pad it where they want... bottom line is what matters.

If the manufacturers really wanted to reign in their dealers, they would prioritize sold orders over lot inventory. That way, certain well positioned dealers wouldn't be able to suck up all the available inventory, then force big markups on buyers who can't get their cars built because production is allotted for lot inventory for dealers that charge high markups.

There are some dealers that are willing to deal. I had ordered a 2022 ZL1 at a local dealer for msrp but they lied about actually having an allocation. I searched for a couple of hours and found a dealer 800 miles away that had a Rapid Blue ZL1 in their showroom and would sell it at supplier pricing which on this car was about $2,250 under sticker and only 254.00 doc fee. It did end up costing me 1200.00 to have it shipped to me in an enclosed carrier so that cut out some of the savings.
I just wanted people to know that there are dealers willing to make a deal.
