Got it thanks…

I hear nothing with the windows up, but is pretty noticeable if standing outside the car, when started, until the idle winds down….not a big deal, just not used to hearing this on my last A10. Runs perfect…

Haven’t noticed a whine in any forward gears yet but also haven’t gotten to do any windows down driving. Definitely a very noticeable whine in reverse though.

all of thee mentioned issues are from manual shifting correct? In auto it sifts amazingly awesome, just a shame it shifts all the way to 9 or 10th gear so quickly.

Nope all the weird stuff I feel is in auto mode. Still don’t know if my trans is slipping or it’s some kind of weird torque converter behavior. I know a close friends Silverado RST with a 10spd definitely doesn’t do it. Shifts great full throttle so guess that’s what matters 🤷🏼*♂️

Also described these same symptoms in several posts now. No manual issues just in auto mode. The issue you are describing is identical to mine. This is either a real issue/the torque converter like King said. He seems to know his stuff.. I would say he’s probably right. Let’s hope for the sake of our trans health. Just know you’re not alone here
