engine cover

I have a 16 ats 2.0, I have to take the valve cover off, change the pcv valve, to do that, the back half of the engine cover has to come off, doesn't look very simple, did anyone do that or have any tips.

Back half of the engine cover comes off with two bolts...

You either push back and destroy the fiberglass insulation the is over those two bolts to use a ratchet and socket to get them out, or you go the painful route and use an open end wrench to get them out, or go the easy and best way and use a ratcheting box wrench to get them out. Take your pick.

I do believe once they are both out it just lifts off. I know you have to undo both bolts to lift it up to get the back coil out to do plugs or coils.

engine cover

The 2 bolts you that you said are the easy ones. there are 2 more down on the back of the motor that you can't even see.
