Someone asked if the DUSTOP cover would work for a convertible. They specifically asked if the lining material would shed and transfer to the soft top, like pilling. Could anyone with experience with a DUSTOP cover on a convertible help out with a definitive answer?
I personally highly doubt there would be any problem. The lining material is a synthetic that feels slick like a disposable diaper, like it has a plastic coating. It's definitely not flannel or cotton. Not sure how much this will help but attached are some closeup pictures of the inside lining, contrasted with the rougher texture of the outer layer.
