1st Time: M6 Procharged Drag Strip
I went to the track for the first time ever. Quite a rush.
2016 m6 Procharged 2SS (P-1X, canned tune) Stock tires w/13,000 miles on them. 1st Run: I avoided the water box and did a quick burnout. Tried using Launch Control, and just ended up spinning. Video: https://youtu.be/67T6KJFw6Vw Time Slip: 2nd Run: Went through the water box this time and tired a little longer burnout (.5 sec?) Launched at 2000ish RPM, still was nervous and had no clue as to what I was doing. At least it seemed to hook quite a bit better. Used no lift shift which chirped the tires at each shift. Video: https://youtu.be/kStxwfFqD0Y Time slip: All in all, I had great fun and still hoping to get that number ET a bit lower. I plan to get some sort of drag specific wheels/tires (rears) but not 100% sure on the direction I want to go. |

M6s are tough to launch even with tires and less power. You did great!

Made a pretty good improvement over your first run. Your gonna need slicks for sure to get even to mid 11's. good luck

Thanks all for the support. I believe tires will be next, just a little hesitant on which direction on what to get. Either way I just want to get out there and enjoy it.
Thanks, don't know what it is pushing. I plan on putting it on a dyno after I get a proper tune. Quote:
I definitely would need practice to get respectable numbers. Takes me needing a procharger just to run with a Stock SS A8. |

Right now I'm debating on a a drag wheel/tire setup or a tune from Jannetty. The cost looks to be similar. I think that the tire route would give me better times at the strip, but Jannetty/Ted would provide more smiles daily... (1st World Problems). Either way, I might as well toss it on a dyno for fun, even though I don't have a reference point. |

With a set of axles and a pair of slicks, you should manage low 11’s without issue. Mine went 11.23@126 with the P1SC, slicks and axles. Needed the axles due to destroying the stock set.
There’s definitely enough power to go 10’s if we can ever get it to the ground.

OP great start! Low 1.9s 60's are possible on the stock runflats with seat time. So I would say 11.5s or better should be possible with that mph on stock tires. Unfortunately the M6 has a builtin bog as confirmed by Chevy. No solutions yet as far as I know. The pros at Atco told me as my car was leaving they noticed a hesitation and wondered where I learned to drive a manual. LOL

Awesome. Thanks for posting
Maybe hold off on tune until you do more mods like exhaust, pulley, fuel, etc
