That's crazy! Post some shots of that area of the block once you get the engine all the way out if you don't mine. That wrist pin causes morbid fascination. Its like a train wreck - once it starts you can't look away.
Good luck with the re-build.

It was late last night and I almost had the head off but need the large ass allen to get the head off. Why did GM use all normal torq to yield bolts except the one on the end???????? What size is it? |

There was ton of metal parts in the intake. I am afraid that power washing wont get it all out. When porters port these do they take them apart???

Think I saw it posted on the forum somewhere that it's... 13mm? I'd do a quick search to confirm that though. Hope that helps

You may have dropped a valve where they are missing. But how did the other one get damage?

My one Buddy says it looks like the valve seat is gone. Tells me that valve seat can fall out and then that's it done

Pace Performance, https://paceperformance.com/, has always been good to me. They have all of the info a dealer has, and can get any part a dealership can get. The difference is their pricing is usually better. Their website isn't the greatest though. I usually worked with them through email.
When I was doing the LT4 swap into the SS, they overnighted several parts for me. I know you've already started ordering replacement parts, but if I were in your shoes I'd be considering one of these: http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/...rcharged.shtml https://paceperformance.com/i-238711...ine-46755.html

Mechanical over rev, which floated the valves, kissed the valve and a few min later goodbye.
