If You Had A Do Over? (6th Gen)
If you had a do over knowing what you know now about these 6th Camaros would you still buy your A8 or would you switch to Manual and Vice Versa?

I used to be a "pro" manual guy, but after having this A8 for about 6 months now, I'm happily converted!!!! If I had a do over, the only thing I would switch, would be from A8 to A10!!! Yes, wish I would have held out for a ZL1!!!!

Manual all the way. I'd fall asleep driving an automatic.

Bought the a8, would still buy the a8. Loved my manual in the days of my SCCA 944, would never buy a stick for the urban driving I do now .

I'd love to have a manual car, but with traffic in DC I would just hate myself

Totally the A8s shift so smooth! And still has an awesome rooooaaar! I love driving this thing I occasionally cross over to use the paddle shifter just to hold the gears a little longer. Fuel economy is pretty nice too. I just thought a couple days ago that I want the ZL1 but I'm not taking that hit with this car. It's already near perfect. Plus the recaros makes my back hurt after while. I was leaving this morning while brushing my teeth I used my phone and fired up the beast... it was nice and warm when I got in it. Went from a 141LE to my 16 1SS Auto. I am beyond pleased with the A8 in this car. I would do the exact same thing if given the opportunity.

All my previous sports cars were sticks. Love the A8 and would definitely get it again.

I'd still get a manual but i'd get the v4 turbo instead of the V8. Time to sit back and enjoy the scenery instead of it flashing by my window. My last ticket was the wakeup call.

I love my M6, and haven't had any problems yet. I see that a few have had issues with their A8s, so I'm comfortable with my choice.

No! Wouldn't change a thing. All of my Camaros have been manuals and as long as I can drive one and they still make them I will keeping buying them. The M6 in my '16 is so much better than the '10 SS trans. It has such a smoother feel to it and IMO shifts better.

A8 for me, after a lifetime of M6 cars. Never go back to M6. No issues with ours and we have had it for 1 year and 2 months with 13,4K miles. Runs 11's and gets 32MPG on the highway.

Have had a handful of manuals, got the A8. Would get the A8 again. I test drove a M6 and an A8 back to back, and just liked the A8 better.
