Supplier pricing on 2019 Camaro

is it unusual for supplier pricing to not be available on the Camaro at the beginning of a model year? I see it on the 2018 Camaro and the 2019 Corvette. I realize they update the list periodically. Makes me hesitant to order one.

They normally won't be available just yet. but in most cases, you probably can negotiate better than supplier pricing. Unless the dealership is being a clown about pricing.

Thanks. Supplier was the worst case price I without negotiating a lower price. I'm just surprised it isn't available yet.

Supplier pricing will be available sometime after the 2019 Camaro officially goes on sale in the fall; production doesn’t even start until 8/20/18. If sales are strong at the beginning of the new model year, GM will delay making supplier pricing available. There is no “automatic” date when it goes into effect. BTW, the 2019 C7 has been for sale for months; production started 1/29/18.

Don’t let the lack of supplier pricing now slow you down, unless your primary requirement in making the deal is using supplier pricing.

I haven't tried talking with them on price, but I know I could get supplier if it was available. Hopefully, they'd be able to match or beat it if I was ready to put a deposit on an ordered car.

Based on the responses from the new nose, I don't think people are going to be running out to their Chevy dealers with cash in hand for a '19 any time soon.

'59 Edsel comes to mind here.

Ok, I fixed it for you, since someone above has a soft spot for the Edsel.
