JANNETTY RACING ROUGH IDLE BLOWER CAM PICKS UP 120 RWHP L99 VORTECH

We are Pretty Stoked at the latest results with our JRE Rough Idle blower Cam.

This car with Vortech V3 Kit, LT headers High flow cats, JRE Vortech Upgrade Kit made 502 RWHP last year.

This year it came in for the L99/LS3 Cam Upgrade Injectors Map sensor and Tune.

So basically a Cam change only NO PULLEY CHANGE

502 RWHP 464 RWTQ Before
622 RWHP 512 RWTQ After

Really nice job Ted -

That's a very impressive gain across the board.

Ed

Watch out and beware of the haters. A while back I designed the camshaft for the GMHT magazine APS turbo G8 article, they gained over 140 RWHP from just a cam swap and OMG did the doubters come out of the woodwork. Set your filters on high for the haters!

There are only two options in life. Fight or flight. Most people run. Almost all people run. But not us. The difference between us and everyone else is that we run towards the gunfire. And that makes all the difference.

How would this cam work on an L99 with Maggie????? Could you expect same type of gains?

Was this on a stock L99 bottom end?

Driveability and street manners, how does it drive on the street?

Done moding for this season but need a new project for next spring and summer!!!!

By the way, love the maggie I got from you and hope to get the data logging and tuning done with you next week once the new MAP sensor gets in.

Great job Ted.

We typically see 100+ RWHP with this cam and a Maggie.

Stock Long block

Driveability with this cam with my tune is EXCELLENT.

Ted.

You have my attention. Mind posting a video of the pre and post tune idle and anything else that might have me contacting you for a new cam?

It is right in the ball park where most cams for this engine are but with a twist on the specs.

22x-23x 61x 62x 114

I have lots of cams in stock too they are selling like Hot cakes at a carnaval

Ted.
