Stupid question.. but cant you just switch it over to manual and put it in 2nd when you start, then you could put it back into auto after that if you wanted to?
I do this with my 2018 A8 pretty much every stop light, but I drive in manual mode almost 24/7 at this point.

yes...you can take off in 2nd by putting the trans in TUTD(manual) mode and selecting 2nd gear. The Op simply programmed manual mode so it won't ever downshift into 1st. Auto mode still shifts uses 1st.

You can not put a 2020 in 2nd gear to launch. 2019's maybe because they have a different tcm?

Even with unlocked TCM you cannot launch a 2019 A10 in 2nd gear.

Must be an A10 thing only then... Because bone stock A8's can launch in 2nd no problem.

I thought CSP was starting in 2nd with his '18 ZL1 with some tranny tuning. I don't know what came of that, if anything, as I didn't notice he posted much about it. 2020s come with a new TCM though, that is not yet supported in HPTuners. Other 10-speed vehicles allegedly come with this new Bosch TCM.
