V6 LGX p0018 issue (Crankshaft Position)

Hi,
I have 2016 Camaro RS (65k miles)
A few weeks ago I noticed that engine working unstable on low RPM. Scanner show the p0018 issue (Crankshaft Position). I read that is a common problem with old V6 Gm engines, but wasn't expected to find it in my 4-year-old car

So, there is only one way to fix it - timing chain replacement?
