If your getting blown replace that damn front seal with an LS3 seal ;)
So a few months back I had a Maggie installed on my Camaro. Absolutely love it. When I dropped the car off I gave the shop a LS3 seal. When I picked up they told me "That wont be needed with a catch can, your fine". I was disappointed but it was done and I didn't feel like fighting. Well the other car is a C& Z51 with a A&A Ti ProCharger. That car on the other hand has been problematic with blowby, etc. I bought a catch can but had not put it on. Well went out to the car Tue and there was a bath underneath. :( O.K. WTF is this? I did a deep clean, pressure washed, etc. she was spotless again. Yesterday took her out for a nice rough shakedown as anyone would do with a 700rwhp Corvette. None the less come home and my rack along with other parts around dampener are soaked. Well guess what I am starting today? Lucky me gets to drop the electronic rack and pinion to get to the dampener and replace a seal. If it goes in the Camaro in the future I am going to lose my shit. LOL The good news is I did the Procharger on the C7 so I know that car very well. Looks like I am off to the liquor store. Car has 22K don't be Teddy replace the seal boys!!!

Not sure why some shops are not on board with this. But at least now you know why I was preaching to change that seal in your initial thread.

My shop didn't install it either. At the time I was unaware of the issue. I do have the Mighty Mouse Wild catch can setup, so hopefully I'll be OK. It's been 2 years and 25,000 miles.

Not Camaro related, but would this recommendation to swap the seal apply to a l86 Yukon with a 2650 edelbrock?

Part number
Does anyone have the part number for the LS3 seal? My search shows the same seal for Camaros in years 2010 through 2020? I would like to replace the seal with the LS3 while I'm torn down installing the Super Charger.

I don’t see it being an issue at low boost assuming you’re running the kit as it was delivered. If you build something moderate to extreme, as in double digits on the boost, than yes it would be no different from an LT1

Well if there is a front seal issue then it means there is a problem with pressure getting into the PCV system. The stock PCV setup is problematic on a stock engine, much less one that has boost added to it.
Now yes, I have a LS3 seal on my car as I took it apart to do forged internals, but it is best to fix the root cause first. As the difference is with a LT1 seal, it will let air by. The LS3 seal will just get pushed out, or will push something else out. When I first got my car running this year I actually ran it breaking in the cam and such with the hose from the PCV box unhooked to atmosphere and after things warmed up and it was idling, it was pumping a lot of air out of the box in the form of steam. I wanted to see how much pressure there might be, so I put my thumb on there for about 20 seconds and I heard a "Pop". Turns out it pushed the wire harness plug for the oil pump right out of the front cover. Now that the engine and rings are sealed up and everything is hooked up to my catch can, there is a good 10-12hg of vacuum at idle. If you are running any kind of boost, I would suggest a vented catch can solution or you are going to struggle with this.
