Last I saw, Camaro sales were up 3% in 4Q19.
It's an official GM release on their press site - See the sales document in the article.
(site seems down atm)

Those numbers are cars built and shipped to dealers? Or is that retail sold units delivered to buyers?

I did my part since my 20 LT1 was built and delivered in the quarter. 2020 is going to be a low production year.

Lethal Camaro has a recent video, where he says that the GM strike affected the Camaro really bad with dealers not having Camaros on the lot and a lot of ordered cars delayed

Then we'd see a much shorter car on the lot length in q4 and q1 but instead we're seeing almost an entire quarter being the avg time (same as the year before where there was no strike to deal with).

that seems to imply that supply is still far in excess of demand. Not what you'd expect if dealers were hurting for more inventory.

whatever lethal is seeing is not indicative of the country...if what they saw was a pattern at all and not just an exception.

I think Challenger sales are boosted by the Horsepower dollars that they give the buyer. If you buy a Scat Pack, it is like $4850 off MSRP then other dealer discounts. My wife and I had been looking at Charger Scat Packs over the last few weeks and some dealers are at $6k to $10k off MSRP. That a big factor in sales I believe. Chevy really isn't motivating buyers out there right now......

Well I was one of the people that tried to help the sales numbers back in Feb 21 when I brought home my 2020 LT1 V8

I agree. Why the LT5 is not in the car we will never know. It should be.

My crystal ball suggests this thread will become 15+ pages of arguments that the sales decline of the Camaro could be reversed or mitigated through television commercials and printed advertisements . . .

they probably have so few because demand is so low. They'd be stupid to have a dozen on the lot when they maybe sell 1 a month. There's 3000 or so chevrolet dealers in the US. That averages to about 2 sold per quarter

True but why isn’t Chevy listening? Camaro died in 2003. Don’t let it happen again. Or let it die. Plenty of options out there.

Would you buy a $100,000 Camaro? How many people would line up for that?

That’s why.

It’s Alpha siblings performance is also concerning. Ignoring Camaro and poor sales of the new CT4/5 Alpha2 models spells doom.

ATS - 47
CTS - 160
CT4 - 41
CT5 - 3,000
Camaro - 7,185

Total - 10,433

Ummmm like what? Short of investing another $500,000,000 into something that addresses the cars shortcomings, there is very little they can do. They came out with a low cost V8 alternative that at least many here suggested would fix the sales problem, which it hasn’t.

With no camo test cars on the road now, the very best we can hope for is a 2022 MY
